A contemporary penthouse that marries Made in Italy to the smallest details and opts for the wavy lines of our “onda” divider to add an ultimate accent of natural sophistication.
From the designers’ statement
“We performed this project in a PH that had three facades, one of them towards a private terrace and the others with very long views towards the City and the West mountains.
The PH has two levels, on the ground floor the public areas and services are developed and on the upper floor, we have the rooms, each one with dressing room and bathroom, and a TV room. The two levels are linked by an elongated hallway as a 7-meter high corridor with light entry throughout the skylight, the staircase as vertical communication links the plants spatially and is designed on two stainless steel plates with blocks of loose stone in a manner of steps.
The communication with the terrace is based on sliding doors to integrate the interior and exterior in a frank way, the materials are the same on the floors and when the doors are open there is no limit to a single space.
The materials used are Virginia Mist Granite with Leather Finish in all interior and exterior areas.
The walls of public spaces are of dark oak and have large plates modulation. The walls of the bedrooms are made of light oak and in the form of reinforcements. The floors on the top floor are of the light oak stave and the bathrooms are Calacata marble.
The furniture of the house is basically Italian, the supplier is the company “Floor 18” and furniture of Poltrona Frau, Flexform, Modulnova in the kitchen and Porro in the closets.
The whole house has an automation system for lighting, audio, video, security, irrigation, etc. …”
