CS Design signed another jewel of interior design at Pao Huei Solitaire: Pao Huei Solitaire VIII.
In this residential space, the Iride marble divider separates the living area from a home office, without closing the wide-open space off.
After realizing many apartments at Pao Huei Solitaire, one of Taichung’s tallest skyscrapers, the CS Design team has recently finished the interior design of Pao Huei Solitaire VIII.
In this new residential space, the studio traced an aesthetic continuity between Eastern tradition and modernity.
The style is modern, clean, and with light colors, with details that evoke the thousand-year Eastern tradition.
The wide living area is divided into three sections: the lounge area equipped with elegant modern couches and armchairs in neutral tones; the dining area has a modern table and green leather chairs; and a home office with a wooden desk, a cozy leather armchair, and a full-wall shelving unit with incorporated lighting.
If the lounge and dining areas compose a wide-open space, the home office is divided from the others by the Iride stone room divider by Lithos Design.
Thanks to the thin metal frame of Iride, the room divider becomes both a functional and aesthetic tool to separate the living area, preserving the feeling of lightness in the space.
The Iride’s perforated texture allows for a see-through effect, creating continuity between the home office and the living area, yet guaranteeing privacy to focus, read a book, or work. The marble divider and the Italian Herringbone-pattern wood flooring dialogue together, showing the delicate flow of time.
In this space, minimal modernity meets a strong Eastern aesthetic, creating a calm and soft living experience.
