In King David Tower, the lavish Mr Levan Pkhakadze’s apartment features refined finishes, our Tartan interior wall covering, and breathtaking city views of Tbilisi.
From the designers’ statement
“King David Residences is a landmark development in Georgia’s capital, comprising one of two beautifully designed towers located in the heart of the city, on the bank of the River Mtkvari, between Heroes Square and Queen Tamar Bridge.
Most of Tibilisi main attractions are within a 10–15-minute drive from the hotel, confirming its central location.
Standing 32-storeys high, King David Residences is the taller of the twin towers, offering stunning views over the city from most of the floors.
By being part of mixed-use development, residents at King David Residences may enjoy all the project’s facilities right on their doorstep. These facilities include a large indoor swimming pool, a fully-equipped fitness centre, and five different restaurants, including a rooftop restaurant at the top of the tower.
The Residences are separate from the rest of the project, with 24/7 security for the building. All residents will receive all the luxurious treatments a five-star hotel usually offers, including a spacious reception and lobby area, a concierge service, and a laundry.
Studio D73 designed a luxury apartment on the sixteenth floor of the standing 32-stories high King David Residences. It is a beautiful 200 square meter apartment with a stunning view of Tbilisi.
Mr Pkhakadze luxury apartment.
Located on the sixteenth floor of King David Tower in Tbilisi, on a level of +55 square meters, this beautiful 200 square meters fully glazed apartment develops around a long corridor whose rib evokes the one of a leaf.
The strong potential of Mr Pkhakadze space immediately captivated Studio D73 that decided to organize every room in such a way to let each one enjoy the light and the breathtaking city view that characterize each of them.
The result is an elegant but also lively apartment, designed to enjoy all the comforts of a luxury hotel, not forgetting the facilities of a private villa, thanks to the two spacious bedrooms with private bathroom and changing room each, a guest toilet, and a large open space living room.
The brightness of these environments is reflected in every room, thanks to the precious tartan interior wall covering by Lithos Design in Gris St. Pierre marble that creates a game between the warmth of wood and its geometric and linear shapes.
The rooms show an innovative and casual style, further enhanced by the designer classic lamps by FLOS. These have both direct access to the bathrooms, furnished with Villeroy & Boch elements and GESSI mixers.
Large walk-in closets allow the dwellers to have full room for their clothes and get dressed, while the wide bathtub of the master bedroom offers moments of relaxation after a hectic city day.
At the end of the corridor, a glazed central area represents the key feature of the project.
Here, Studio D73 added value to the high offset columns, letting their ivory colour reflect the stunning surrounding landscape. The bright and harmonious living room is the perfect setting to sip a good glass of wine, perfectly preserved in the elegant Iglu cellar, or relax on the sofa while enjoying a 360-degree view of the city.
The black polished Zampieri kitchen help give a touch of character to the open space whose ceiling is marked with a balanced mix of geometric lines and circles of light.
