Comfort and daylight are the two features of this office, further emphasised by the Mizar LED backlit wall that highlights the details and the elegance of the reception design, welcoming guests and clients.
From the designers’ statement
“The Ashan Headquarters by Gonye Design should foster the workers’ well-being and pleasure, hosting guests in a sincere atmosphere.
The entrance, located in the core, had poor natural light sources, so the design plan evaluated the use of angles to receive sunlight on the entry.
The brass linear details on the floor and the magnetic lighting system following it on the ceiling allows visitors to circulate in the right direction.
The designers separated the office rooms from the corridor with glazed walls to efficiently grant sunlight even to inner areas. Dark and neutral tones matched with glazing materials and lighting details evoke the corporate identity and luxury in the office foyer. Working areas are designed with warmer tones and comfortable furniture to inspire employees.
The one-storied management office with rectangular planning in Istanbul Maslak has to be the company headquarters. Indeed, the company management wanted a location downtown to make business life more enjoyable and productive among colleagues. Comfort and maximum use of daylight were the main criteria of the office design process, including VIP zones to welcome special guests.
The reception area reaches the maximum daylight level, spreading it to the working areas in the middle of the office.
A transparent glass separator design with wooden poles divides the VIP zone and the working areas.
The bar area, a resting and freelance working zone for the staff, acts as a further dividing space between these two.
The dark natural stone with a matt surface of the floor combines laminated wooden parquet, a dark-polished wood coating and textured wallpapers.
While the special floor lightings and the wall emphasise the dark colour effect, the Lithos Design Mizar marble backlit wall texture spreads calm and harmonious vibes.
All mechanical installations were planned in the circulation areas to maximise the height of the whole environment, making it more spacious.
The wooden ceiling design in the executive rooms was combined with the wall coverings, thereby creating a wider area for mechanical installations.
The entire design and the details aim to create a more energetic atmosphere boosted by the brand orange colour used in the open-space office”.
