The interiors of the impressive complex previously known as Sky House West have been renovated and converted into one of the most strategic high-end residential locations in the USA Capital. The design studio RD Jones chose our marble divider for luxury interiors to frame and finish the elegant reception.

Rational, welcoming and refined were the main characteristics this new living complex aimed to acquire, and consequently, the main qualities its new interior design concept had to convey in order to turn this huge offices complex into one of the most desirable high-end condos in Washington. The rich offer of amenities the complex wanted to offer its potential customers called for an elaborate design plan, where the wish to stay active and live fully as well as the need for comfort and easiness had to find their proper places, smartly studied to allow inhabitants enjoy the best possible living experience and find here a true dream house. The cosy and chic club room as well as the party room equipped with a kitchen and a bar, the game room including its many comfortable TV-areas, the fitness centre, yoga and aerobic spaces and the infinity pool on the roof deck, the conference room and the shared workspace… every feature needed to maintain the classy and stylish mood of the entire building, precisely declined in a functional and livable way. Natural materials and high-tech solutions and elements are wisely mixed to obtain the desired result, starting from the multi-functional lobby where more intimate nooks alternate with broader, open seating areas. The truly elegant concierge desk found its most appropriate backdrop in the « Traccia » marble divider for luxury interiors belonging to Lithos Design’s « Muri di Pietra » collection: displayed in order to frame the desk on both sides, like delicate theatre wings which only partially cover what’s behind, the two « traccia » elements in giallo dorato limestone draw the onlooker’s attention towards the desk without obstructing the view to the open space, perfectly blending into the chosen colour palette.
