Lithos Design continues to explore the charming combination of light and natural stone, creating new backlit wall textures and wall lamps.
Two new textures enrich the “Pietre Luminose” collection, continuing but also innovating the research into illumination techniques applied to the translucent properties of marble: indeed, if “hamal” is engraved on the front surface of the tile, “sole” draws a different line to the decorative style usually applied; indeed, being engraved only on the back side of the tile, the texture is unveiled when it is turned on, showing an elegant flat surface when turned off.
The same translucent properties of marble are further investigated, widening the choice of the materials available for this collection: in addition to “carrara ghiaccio” and “rosa agata“, the “estremoz” marble provides designers with a new charming material able to emphasize all the backlit textures of the collection.
So, light proves itself as one of the main themes of Lithos Design production that expands also the “Complementi Luce” wall lamps collection. Here, marble and light combine each other to create multifunctional design elements that both cover and enlighten the space: after the well-known “curve luce” and “coni luce”, “quadre luce” is the latest type of wall lamp, whose shape evokes drawers of light extracted from the walls that spread light and coziness across the space.
The first product to come to light is “strato quadre luce” but the range of choice will be soon widened thanks to three new models: “grano quadre luce”, “compasso quadre luce”, “volta quadre luce”.
