Elle Decoration's international readers love Opus.

"Opus", the first not-for-walls-only surface by Lithos Design, wins the first Choice of The Year Award by Elle Decoration Russia in the Floors category.<

We were pleasantly surprised already by the first news we received about it: an exclusive jury of professionals, among which the editors-in-chief of Elle Decoration Russia, France and Italy, had shortlisted Opus by Lithos Design together with a number of prestigious international brands such as Kartell by Laufen, Poliform/Varenna, Visionnaire, Fendi Casa, Miele, Minotti and many others for the first Choice of The Year International Award. This prestigious prize, now in its first edition, would be delivered by the Russian edition of the magazine, and the final decisions would be made by its very demanding readers, who would elect the best furniture items, interior decoration products and household appliances through their vote.
Being shortlisted was to us an important acknowledgement for all the hard work we had undergone to create the Opus collection which, for the first time in Lithos Design's story, deals with the pictorial aspect of marble materials and, thanks to its bidimensionality, can dress also horizontal surfaces. Opus was selected precisely for the Floors category, and such appreciation for our first floor proposals by those significant names in the international scene of interior decoration was a great achievement already.

The awards ceremony takes place on October 15th and more news break: a further, much sought-after acknowledgement comes from Elle's public, who crowns Opus as the winner in its category. It sounds amazing, yet it confirms a likewise positive feedback expressed by Elle Decoration UK's Facebook fans a few weeks before, when a post about the Tangram ginger model from the Opus collection obtains a number of Likes and Shares that is almost unprecedented in the page timeline.

The collection, which is the first worldwide to introduce on the market the industrial design version of polychrome marble inlay works, confirms through this public acclaim that natural stone is not only back to contemporary taste, but also up to set new trends.

Our most sincere thanks go to the jury, to Elle Decoration's editors in Russia and UK, and most of all to the readers, true opinion leaders of our times because of the power of clicks.
